The different uses of CoolSculpting near me

By Dr. TRACY MOUNTFORD, MBBS MBCAM

Over time, body fat can emerge in many different places that we would prefer it did not. This is a difficult problem for many of us, however, it can become even more troublesome when trying to lose weight through conventional methods. Diet and exercise, for example, do not always yield the results that we would like them to. In fact, many of us struggle with bulges or ‘problem areas’ of fat on our bodies, and as a result, have decided to look for treatment options that can help reduce the appearance of these areas. One option that people have frequently been looking at is CoolSculpting. By looking for CoolSculpting near me, many people have found out that CoolSculpting is a non-surgical, minimally invasive fat reduction treatment that can be used on multiple different parts of the body. For those who have not yet searched on CoolSculpting near me, this article will go through what CoolSculpting is used for, as well as the different places on the body it can be applied.

When thinking about having this treatment done for yourself, it is important to consider where (in terms of which clinic) you would like to have this done and to choose somewhere that you believe has your best interests at heart. One place where this is definitely true is at The Cosmetic Skin Clinic. Here at The Cosmetic Skin Clinic, we have performed over 16,000 CoolSculpting treatments to date already, making us the leading clinic for CoolSculpting in not just the UK, but in all of Western Europe. Our many reviews and accreditations are a testament to the reputation we have built for delivering top quality cosmetic treatments, and this is true both for our CoolSculpting procedures, as well as all of the treatments that we offer.

The CoolSculpting procedure

CoolSculpting is performed using a handheld applicator, otherwise known as an applicator. This applicator is outfitted with a gel as well as several nozzles that are similar in appearance to those of a vacuum cleaner. The applicator uses the gel to deliver controlled cooling to the area of fat that is being targeted for treatment. This process, known as cryolipolysis, cools down the fat cells within the fat tissue until they shrivel up and die. After dying, these fat cells are disposed of by the body’s own metabolism. The body usually takes a few weeks to metabolise these dead cells, meaning that the first results of treatment can usually be seen 4 to 6 weeks after the treatment. Furthermore, the body will continue to metabolise even after this point, leading to progressive improvement and further reduction in the appearance of fat bulges for as much as 16 weeks after treatment (on average).

CoolSculpting is a treatment that has been FDA (Food and Drug Administration) approved for use on several different areas of the body. These comprise the chin (particularly the ‘double chin’), the arms, the upper and lower abdomen, the flanks (also known as ‘love handles’), the inner and outer thighs, the bra and back fat and underneath the buttocks.
