As we age, our bodies change. In many ways, for the better.
But, one of the processes that everyone goes through is the loss of hyaluronic acid in the skin; causing it to lose its elasticity and allowing fine lines to become more prominent. Hyaluronic acid is also responsible for maintaining the skin’s moisture and providing nutrients to the skin’s surface, giving you a natural glow.
So, what can you do? Luckily, we have the answer!
At the Cosmetic Skin Clinic in London, our team is proud to be able to offer you dermal fillers in London. These fillers work to smoothen the skin and create a more refreshed and revitalised look!
Of course, before you decide if dermal fillers in London are for you, make sure to read our FAQs about the process.
How do the fillers work?
As mentioned before, when we age our skin reduces the production of hyaluronic acid, causing fine lines to appear. Dermal fillers in London are gently inserted near the site of these lines and add volume and plumpness to the tissue. This causes wrinkles and fine lines to soften, and the skin to look refreshed.
Is there any aftercare I need to be aware of?
There are a few pieces of advice that we at the Cosmetic Skin Clinic can offer you to help with the healing process.
It is recommended that you do not wear make-up for at least 12 hours after the procedure. Avoid extensive exposure to UV rays and try to avoid saunas or other damp, humid environments. Be aware that tenderness around the injection site is normal and should last a few days. If you are concerned about the intensity of the tenderness, book an appointment to see us straight away.
How long do the fillers last?
Depending on where you had the fillers injected in your face, and the prominence of the wrinkles, fillers can last anywhere between 6 months to 2 years. Perfect!
Are complications common?
With the Cosmetic Skin Clinic, our high levels of hygiene and well-trained staff prevent complications with all of our procedures, including filler injections.
If you are concerned that you are experiencing a complication after your fillers have been injected, please contact our team for a follow-up appointment.
