Tatler March Issue
By Beauty Editor at Large Francesca White
Dr Tracy Mountford achieved pole position again in the category ‘Top Doctors Fillers’ in this years Tatler Beauty & Cosmetic Surgery Guide 2019. Tatler describes her as a ‘Svelte straight-talking leading UK injector’. But when it comes to fillers she insists “less isn’t always more. We need to move away from the idea that high volumes of filler mean a weird puffy face,” says Dr Mountford, who goes onto say in the article… “some women need 8ml; however, a more mature lady with skin laxity and bone loss probably needs between 10ml and 12ml. My Mantra is under-treating equals under whelming”… you can read the full article in the march edition of Tatler.
We were also very proud to be featured in the ‘Treatments on Trial’ section of the Tatler guide ‘Best For A Swan Like Neck’ – ‘The Ultimate Lift’. Tatler reported; ‘Has your neck surrendered to the pull of gravity’?
‘The Ultimate Lift’ is a triad of treatments that work synergistically to restore elasticity to the lower face and neck. Comprising; muscle relaxants for the platysmal bands – Ultherapy focused ultrasound to lift and tighten the skin and the icing on the cake treatment, Profhilo ‘that spreads beneath your skin like honey’, providing hydration and re-modelling for saggy skin. Tatler Verdict: “The Botox kicks in first – The Profhilo reveals a new-found glow while the results of Ultherapy take up to three months to show, but well worth waiting for: When they do, jowls are as good as gone…”
The Cosmetic Skin Clinic was also profiled by Ultherapy as a leading London clinic for their article in: ‘Seeing is Believing’. Ultherapy is a global leader in non-surgical aesthetics which lifts, sculpts and tightens the face neck and brow as well as for the improvement of fine lines on the chest.
And finally, we were profiled in the ‘Good Clinic Guide’ for London’s gleaming Devonshire Place clinic and for our discreet clinic, moments from Pinewood studios at our Buckinghamshire practice featuring Magda Szczukiewicz for Coolsculpting and Dr Joanna Christou for excelling at thread lifts.
