Rosacea

Rosacea mainly affects the face and can do so in varying degrees. A red acne-like rash, due to small blood vessels becoming visible, and a burning or itching sensation can make people feel very uncomfortable in social situations. Strenuous exercise, stress and sunlight can also make the condition worse.

Rosacea Treatments at The Cosmetic Skin Clinic

Rosacea happens in both men and women, usually starting between the ages of 30 and 50.

Although there is no known cure for rosacea, we have several rosacea treatment options which we can discuss with you at your initial consultation.

LUMENIS IPL Laser treatment can shrink blood vessels and replace damaged skin with healthy, younger looking tissue – without the need to constantly resort to using heavy foundation to camouflage rosacea.

Cosmeceutical skincare ranges may also be for rosacea.
