There are few things that can consistently help us to lose fat and keep it off, like regular diet and exercise. Indeed, most doctors and health professionals will recommend diet and exercise as a first choice for those of us who want to reduce the amount of fat we have in our bodies. Sometimes though, fat can still accumulate, and despite all our hard work to eat healthily and do physical activities, it just doesn’t seem to decrease.
If you recognise such a situation, then you may wish to consider CoolSculpting – a treatment that uses advanced, non-surgical technology to visibly reduce bulges of fat in the body. This article might naturally lead to a further interest in knowing what CoolSculpting is in more detail and how it works.
After reading this article, you may think that CoolSculpting is a treatment that is right for you. If this is the case, then it would be worth your time to consider having your treatment at The Cosmetic Skin Clinic in Buckinghamshire.

So how does CoolSculpting work exactly? The treatment uses an applicator to deliver precisely controlled cooling to the part of the body you wish to reduce fat from. The cooling affects the body’s fat cells by crystallising them which then causes them to die. The dead fat cells are eliminated naturally, by your body’s metabolism over the next few weeks after treatment. Therefore, you will likely begin to see the results of this treatment at around 4 to 6 weeks after your treatment.
However, your body will actually continue to flush the dead fat cells even after the 4-to-6-week mark. This means that this treatment can give the patient progressively improving results, with the full extent of the fat reduction being seen at around 14 to 16 weeks.
Most people find the treatment to cause minimal discomfort. The cooling process numbs the area being targeted and patients feel a mild pulling sensation at the beginning of treatment which subsides very quickly. Most people consider such a treatment to be relatively relaxing, so much so that patients are often able to work on their phones, read emails, or even fall asleep whilst the treatment is being performed.
