SmartXide DOT Fractional Laser Skin Resurfacing
1Hour of your time can take away 10 years!
How does Smartxide DOT laser work?
SmartXide DOT is a fractional CO2 laser system. CO2 lasers are the most powerful systems on the market, capable of amazingly good results. The light associated with CO2 lasers is able to stimulate skin rejuvenation, only hitting small areas in depth thanks to SmartXide's fractional DOT technology. This is due to micro beams only targeting a proportion of the skins surface at one time, which allows faster healing, causing a tightening of the skin and stimulation of collagen production, thereby, giving a younger and softer looking skin.
Does it hurt? Will I need anaesthetic?
The only sensation you can expect is slight 'stinging' that only lasts for a fraction of a second. The treatment is safe and effective meaning that it can be used on every part of your face neck hands even with the finest most delicate skin - types.

The SmartXide Dot Treatment is suitable for everyone and all skin- types. Suitable for fine lines and wrinkles, acne scars, sun damage, pigmentation, enlarged pores, scars on the face and body and for improved tightness and texture on the face, neck, chest, arms and hands.

What precautions are necessary after the treatment?

Are the results permanent?
All the improvements in your skin obtained with SmartXide DOT are permanent.
Nevertheless, the beneficial effects will gradually diminish with the natural ageing process. Remember that smoking, drinking alcohol and poor eating habits all accelerate the ageing process.
Can I repeat the treatments?
There are no contraindications against repeating the treatment programme with Smartxide DOT. In a few years time, with minimum time investment, you will still be able to obtain the results you desire.
Skin tags are benign, or harmless, growths of skin which are attached to the body by a peduncle or stalk. These are usually benign, and harmless, and will not usually change into cancerous lesions over time.
These are commonly found in areas where the skin creases such as in the neckline, underarm, groin, under the breast as well as the crease in the eyelids. They often appear later on in life and tend to grow in clusters which can be unsightly and potentially embarrassing to individuals.
Skin tags are frequently found in individuals who are overweight, pregnant or suffer from diabetes.
Most patients complain that these skin tags get cut whilst shaving, catch on jewellery or become aggravated by clothing or chaffing which subsequently makes the area sore and occasionally infected.
We can now remove this using the revolutionary new SmartXide Dot fractional laser. The procedure is quick, painless and doesn't involve a scalpel and hence leaves minimal scarring. A light dressing will be applied on the area and you will be able to resume normal duties after your procedure.
If the lesion appears suspicious your surgeon will advise that the tissue be sent for histological diagnoses in order to determine the exact tissue type.
All minor surgical treatments are carried out by our resident plastic surgeon.
