This Summers top tip from The Cosmetic Skin Clinic for your skin, is to apply Vitamin C on your face as part of your every day beauty regime. We would recommend Obagi Vitamin C Serum. Why? Because your skin deserves all the protection you can give it from daily exposure to the sun’s damaging rays and environmental conditions that cause premature ageing. Visible signs of aging, those fine lines and wrinkles, are caused by tiny molecules known as ‘free radicals.’ Free radicals dramatically multiply with exposure to sun, air pollution and other environmental assaults, ravaging skin cells and breaking down collagen that gives skin its youthful resilience.
Superior Results
Obagi® Professional-C Serums use advanced scientific formulas developed and tested by leading Vitamin C experts. Obagi® Professional-C Serums offer maximum daily antioxidant protection and greater penetration than other Vitamin C products. The greater the penetration, the greater the antioxidant benefit to your skin.
Vitamin C neutralizes free radicals to prevent skin cell damage. Professional strength Vitamin C can give your skin the superior protection it needs to:
Professional strength concentrations
Obagi Professional-C Serum uses stabilized L-ascorbic acid – the only form of Vitamin C that can be effectively absorbed by the skin.

Grazia is raving about Obagi® skincare and other leading magazines are raving about it too! Transforming your skin back to its youthful tone and texture is today’s celebrity must have. Why? because over the years, your skin has been exposed to a number of environmental stressors, which cause damage that can reach the deepest layers of your skin. Photodamage, caused by the sun’s harmful rays, is the main cause of the fine lines, wrinkles and age spots that you may already see or you will eventually see on your face.
What are the effects of photodamage on your skin?
As your skin ages and is exposed to UVA and UVB rays, the turnover of skin cells slows significantly, throwing off the balance between the growth of healthy new cells and the sloughing of old, damaged cells. Additionally, collagen and elastin begin to break down, causing the skin to lose resilience resulting in fine lines, wrinkles and sagging. Daily exposure to UV light then accelerates this aging process and may cause uneven coloring.

How does the Nu-Derm System transform your skin?
The Nu-Derm System penetrates below the surface of your skin to transform skin cell functions at the cellular level and correct the damage within.
Using a specific dose and frequency that’s recommended specifically by your skin care professional for your skin condition, the prescription-strength system exfoliates old skin leaving healthy, new skin that looks and acts younger and healthier.
Obagi® systems and products are only available by prescription and should be used under the guidance of our doctors and aesthetic practitioners at The Cosmetic Skin Clinic, who will design a specific protocol that incorporates dosing, frequency and treatment objectives for your skin.

Why do we lavish attention, money and anti ageing treatments on our face and forget the rest? Anyone keen to detect the ravages of time need look no further than the hands because they betray a person’s age. Dry crêpey fine lines caused by sun damage and protruding veins are particularly telling. As you age the plumpness in the skin disappears, making hands appear more dehydrated and revealing prominent veins.
Restylane Vital provides deep dermal hydration and moisturises from within to improve skin elasticity and skin smoothness. This keeps our skin looking plump and hydrated and so diminishes the appearance of fine crêpey lines caused by sun damage. Restylane Vital is a smooth, pure crystal clear hyaluronic acid (HA) gel which is injected into the skin to replenish the skin’s own HA which attracts water in the skin and plays an important part in the skin’s hydration.
Reccomendation is an initial course of 2 to 3, approximately 2-3 weeks apart. Because Restylane Vital releases hyaluronic acid gradually over a period of time, the benefits of this treatment generally last for approx 6months, once you have finished a course your hands can easily be maintained by a repeat top up treatment once or twice a year.
