Our next 2 dates for opening are:Saturday 14th August 2010 & 11th September 2010 . We will post future dates on the website and via email.

Dr Sherina Balaratnam
Cosmetic Doctor and Plastic Surgeon Dr Sherina Balaratnam MBBS, MRCS, MSc (UCL) has recently joined The Cosmetic Skin Clinic. Her 10 year surgical career has encompassed a broad range of specialities, including general surgery, orthopaedics, accident & emergency and cardiothoracic surgery to name but a few. She is a member of The Royal College of Surgeons and has 5 years of experience in the field. Her specialist areas include facial rejuvenation treatments using botulinum toxin and dermal fillers including lip and cheek enhancement, Y Lift, Nefertiti neck lift, acne and acne scar management, Genuine Dermaroller (micro skin needling) and fractional laser skin resurfacing.

In December 2009 Dr Tracy Mountford of The Cosmetic Skin Clinic was invited to work with Allergan to host a meeting about ‘Why we should learn to love hyaluronic acid’. The meeting was well attended by a number beauty thought leaders including Tatler, Elle, Harpers Bazaar, The Times, The Telegraph, The Daily Mail…. to name but a few. All attendees were fascinated to hear about the secrets behind hyaluronic acid!

Dr Tracy Mountford was invited by Juvederm Ultra to give a presentation to the Cosmetic Executive Women on ‘Why we should learn to love hyaluronic acid’ at a breakfast meeting at The Avenue restaurant in London. This breakfast meeting was attended by top journalists from the national press and magazines including OK magazine, The Daily Mail, The Daily Telegraph, and The times.
150 top executives from various parts of the beauty world attended, including the houses of Chanel and Estee Lauder to name but a few. The officiator was Vivienne Parry, scientist, writer & Broadcaster and ex presenter of Tomorrows World. Doctor Tracy Mountford made her presentation about Non Surgical Facial Rejuvenation & The Role of Hyaluronic Acid.
This was an Anti-Ageing presentation about the years of ageing and how we naturally lose hyaluronic acid the older we become. This was highlighted by a slide presentation illustrating the reduction of HA in the dermis and the erosion of beauty & the triangle of youth. Volume loss and Muscular Hyperactivity are two major components of the ageing process that together contribute to the formation of wrinkles. This then led onto the Whole face approach in dealing with anti aging treatments giving the patient the balanced and natural appearance they desired. The presentation was then wrapped up with;
