Rachel Carlyle reports in The Times weekend magazine that our bodies and brains excel at different tasks at different ages and youth isn’t always an advantage.

In this article Dr Mountford is quoted as saying about her experience with anti wrinkle injections, “If you inject wrinkles before they are too pronounced, you inhibit their progression, meaning less treatment in the long run. She goes onto say; “She doesn’t encourage everyone to have lots of Botox and fillers but to have light touches from your late thirties to prevent ageing and hold you in a state of suspended aesthetic animation so at 40, 45 and 50 you will still look like you did ten years previously…”
