Last week we introduced EMSculpt; our latest non-surgical body contouring treatment. This week Dr Sophie Shotter explains why she is so excited about this innovative treatment.
EMSculpt is the world’s first and only non-invasive body shaping procedure to simultaneously build muscle and reduce fat without any surgery or downtime!
How EMSculpt Works:
What makes an EMSculpt treatment unique is the ability to target muscles. While other body sculpting treatments like CoolSculpting can help shift fat and improve skin laxity, EMSculpt builds muscle and reduces fat at the same time.
We only work with proven technology. We prioritise reliability and the safety of our patients above all else.
EMSculpt uses High-Intensity Focused Electromagnetic (HIFEM) energy to create supramaximal contractions, to strengthen and tone muscles. It’s FDA-cleared and can be used on the abdomen, arms (biceps and triceps), legs (calves) and the buttocks.
We’re also one of the first clinics in the UK to launch the new EMSculpt arm applicator. Men and women over a certain age often find it harder to achieve muscle tone – especially in the arms.
One 20 minute EMSculpt session is the equivalent of doing 20,000 bicep or tricep curls, so it really is like doing an intensive workout.
If you work out regularly, you’ll find that after treatment, you’ll feel stronger. You can hold a yoga pose for longer, lift more at the gym, or even run faster. Treating the abdomen also improves posture from the first session, which may aid lower back pain.
It’s also non-invasive and requires no recovery time or any pre/post treatment preparation. You can get back to work immediately following the procedure.
Profhilo improves skin quality, CoolSculpting targets fat but to improve muscle definition to your abdomen, buttocks and arms, EMSculpt is our new solution.
