Ultherapy Press Event Wednesday 26th September – Marylebone Hotel London

By Dr. TRACY MOUNTFORD, MBBS MBCAM

On Wednesday evening at The Marylebone Hotel in London, Dr Tracy Mountford presented four of our Ultherapy case studies to the UK press. We wanted to showcase 4 very different individual patients of varying ages and careers to track their progress from their initial consultation through to their optimum treatment results with Ultherapy at 3 months and 6 months. They all gave their own account on what Ultherapy had achieved for them and the biggest take-away of their treatments were:

  • Their skin quality – ‘The Glow’
  • They loved the gradual results
  • Did it hurt? Honest answer… no not especially, very bearable to what they had read
  • Would they have it again? – unified consensus was; In a heartbeat!

Take a look at Tina’s individual experience and treatment outcome with Ultherapy in the video below.

Dr Tracy Mountford recognised in the UK and Europe as the No1. Clinic for Ultherapy® presented on the science and technology behind Ultherapy, followed by the introduction of each patient case study to the press to discuss their own personal experiences and treatment outcomes and what it has meant to them.

How Ultherapy works:

Ultherapy®, uses unique precise DeepSEE technology with ultrasound energy, to target the structural layers of the skin found in the dermis, allowing the practitioners to treat the optimum layers for collagen and elastin reproduction. Working in line with your own natural collagen production system, Ultherapy® is a clinically proven non-invasive alternative to surgery, providing very impressive results. Unlike other non-surgical treatments Ultherapy® can reach sharply focused depths, between 1.5 and 4.5mm, passing the epidermis to target only the necessary skin cells, while leaving the surrounding regions unaffected. Dr Mountford comments:

“Ultherapy® is unlike other technologies because it treats deep beneath the skin’s surface delivering an exact amount of ultrasound energy at precise depths and temperature. This heat energy triggers a natural response under the skin, encouraging the body’s own natural regenerative process to produce new collagen and elastin to give a durable lasting, lifting effect.”

Since there is minimal downtime with Ultherapy®, patients are free to return to their normal activities immediately after treatment. Ultimate results will take place over 2–3 months, as the growth of new collagen and elastin replaces old tissue targeted by the treatment. A single Ultherapy® treatment can give a lasting effect for over a year in some patients.

Ultherapy® can be carried out on the face, neck, chin, brow & décolletage, prices start from £1,200. The treatment has been performed more than 1,250,000 times worldwide.

It was wonderful to see so many of the UK’s leading beauty journalists support this event such as Alice Hart-Davies, Olivia Falcon, Inge Van Lotringen of Cosmopolitan magazine, Daily Mail online, Beauty influencer and blogger ReallyRee and many more…  we can’t thank them enough for all their support.

Lastly, to round off the evening, Managing Director of Merz UK Mr Stuart Rose, presented Dr Mountford with two awards for The Cosmetic Skin Clinic being the: No1 Ultherapy Clinic in Europe for the highest number of procedures 2017/2018 as well as The No1 Ultherapy clinic in the UK & Ireland for the highest number of procedures carried out 2017-2018.
