Micro-needling treatment

Genuine Dermaroller – While this method of skin rejuvenation has gained popularity over the last few years, it was in fact, first invented in 1905 by a German dermatologist. About 50 years later the technique was picked up by a dermatologist in New York and it gained some popularity back then. Around the time of the ’90s, studies were seen on the use of needling treatment for the skin which has led to what we know as the Dermaroller today.
The device itself is a small roller attached to a handle. The roller is usually titanium and can contain 90-540 tiny micro-needles all over its surface. When rolled over the skin this device enhances the production of collagen and elastin, dramatically lowering the appearance of wrinkles, scars, and large pores.
Electro Derma Stamp (EDS) – Like the Dermaroller, EDS treatments boost collagen and elastin production in the skin, except the tiny needles are on the surface of an electronic stamp pen instead of a roller. Using shorter needles to target the top layer of skin making it plumper with less fine lines, it smooths out skin texture and leaves the skin bright and glowing. It may also offer more intensive treatments with longer needles to leave skin tighter and firmer, reduce pigmentation, and help with stretch marks and scarring. Skin’s luminosity is greatly improved with such treatments.
INTRAcel – With the combination of micro-needling techniques and radiofrequency skin tightening technology, this is a skin rejuvenating treatment that not only helps with fine lines and wrinkles, but also large pores, acne, acne scars, and stretch marks.
