Your New Patient Journey With The CSC

By Dr. TRACY MOUNTFORD, MBBS MBCAM

We are looking forward to reopening our clinics on Saturday 4th of July. Your safety and wellbeing is our top priority, so we have made some small changes to how we work to ensure your visit is a safe and pleasant one. We have put together a short animation video to outline the processes and protocols we have set in place so you know what to expect from your new patient journey with The CSC. If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact our reception team on 0203 319 3637 or read our Covid-19 FAQ’s.

To reduce the overall risks and limit your time spent in the clinic as much as possible, we will ensure where possible that most information is obtained ahead of your face to face appointment.

When visiting our clinics, you will be asked to arrive no earlier than 5 minutes before your appointment time to ensure safe distancing can be carried out within our clinics. On arrival we will test your temperature and you will be required to follow social distancing rules, there will be markings on the floor to assist you. Patients will also be asked to come alone. Should you need someone with you in consultation for translation or mobility needs, please confirm this at the time of your booking with our reception team.

Hand sanitiser will be available for you to use upon entry and throughout the clinic. Patients will also be asked to wear masks where appropriate which we can provide at the clinic.

Toilet facilities will remain available and will be cleaned after each use. Robust cleaning schedules will also be in place for all contact points to include door handles, light switches and other surfaces.

All our clinical staff will be regularly screened and tested for Covid-19. No staff member will be permitted to enter the clinic if they have symptoms of Covid-19 or if they test positive. Our clinics are CQC registered which means we have extensive experience with infection prevention measures and clinical protocols. Universal precautions will be taken throughout the clinic and our staff have extensive training in infection prevention. Our staff will be wearing appropriate PPE including masks, eye protection and gloves.

If you or anyone who lives with you has symptoms related to Covid-19, we ask that you please do not come to the clinic. We recommend that you inform our reception team at the earliest opportunity if you develop any symptoms or are feeling unwell.

If you have visited our clinic before, your experience may feel a bit different, however we will do our best to ensure it is a pleasant one. These measures are here to protect everyone accessing our services and keep you safe, whilst minimising the risk of infection as much as possible.
