The highly trained medical team at the Cosmetic Skin Clinic is expanding. Libby Stewart recently joined the practice and is based at Stoke Poges clinic in Buckinghamshire.
Libby qualified as a registered nurse in 1983, specialising in plastic and cosmetic surgery. She brings a wealth of experience and research to the Cosmetic Skin Clinic. Her initial interest in non-surgical treatments began when she used these methods to augment the results of surgical procedures.
Due to patient results, which were so encouraging, Libby practiced and trained in a portfolio of treatments to include wrinkle relaxing,, peels and micro needling techniques. Her experience as a nurse practitioner with a wide range of products allows her to offer her patients the most appropriate treatment plan for them. Her expert ability to revive and refresh skin ensures her patients are able to achieve the best and most natural results for them.
Upon her appointment Dr Tracy Mountford stated ‘Not only are Libby’s non-surgical credentials and skills excellent, but she is warm, kind and a friendly addition to the team; something we prize highly in our work ethic and commitment to patient satisfaction at the Cosmetic Skin Clinic.’
Since 2007, Libby has built on her pursuit of excellence and safety for patients through being one of the UK s most well-known educators of doctors and nurses in aesthetic procedures. She is a registered trainer and mentor for advanced aesthetic procedures.
A prescribing practitioner and a member of the Association of Nurse Prescribers and the British Dermatological Nursing Group Libby offers treatments based on academic medical evidence. A member of the British Association of Cosmetic Nurses, Libby is on the working party responsible for protocols for the standardisation of safety within the medical aesthetic specialty.
