To save you the time and inconvenience of travelling to hospital, you can now have minor surgical procedures carried out in the comfort of The Cosmetic Skin Clinic. All procedures will be carried out by our resident plastic surgeon.
Treatments include excision and repair of:
- Skin tags
- Warts
- Scars and traumatic lacerations*
- Sebaceous cysts (sac-like lesions filled with fatty substance)
- Lipomas (benign fatty deposits under the skin)
- Comedones (blackheads)
- Seborrhoeic keratoses (brown warts)
- Split earlobes
- Moles*
- Basal cell carcinoma*
* Lesions which appear suspicious or pre-cancerous will have to be sent for histological testing
* Keloid scars can be effectively treated using appropriate steroid injections
