Graduated as a Registered Nurse at Southbank University 1997 Laurie is a member of the RCN (Royal College of Nurses) and fully registered with the NMC (Nursing & Midwifery Council) and is an Independent Nurse prescriber.

Following a long and satisfying career as a clinical nurse based in hospitals and having worked as a Sister in A&E for 6 years, Laurie decided to focus her experience and talent with fine wound repairing transferring it to medical cosmetic use.
